Shelter Nova Scotia operates six facilities throughout Halifax, providing much needed services, food, essential items, and most importantly, a safe place to sleep for up to 106 people every night of the year. Throughout their community, they support approximately 1,300 individuals and families annually either through their facilities or their support programs such as the Community Trustees, eviction prevention and housing support, and, most recently, their newly opened Housing Hub drop-in centre.
